About Me

I love my animals and my job! I love God and my life, am thankful everyday I wake up. I also advertise on www.breedersassociation.net.  Siberian Husky's are one of the most gentle breeds out there. They are very loving and friendly dogs. They have great endurance and require lots of excercise. If this is a problem, it may result in undesirable traits such as more digging, chewing and escaping. They are climbers and can quickly dig themselves out underneath a fence or can climb out over top. This should be taken care of with a safe electric fencing solution. If you are wanting one as a watch dog, I would choose another breed, because Siberian's love people and may not ever meet a stranger. They are very good around children, but as a word of caution, they do like to jump up to greet you, so this may result in knocking a young child or elderly person over, however, they will not attack but may lick you to death! I keep both of my husky's in an electrified fence around the top and bottom. They have a large backyard and we try to excercise them everyday with walks around the block. They have great endurance and enjoy socialization with human contact. The more socialization the better dogs they become. They have great temperments but my female is a little more hyper than my male. I definately recommend getting this book if you are wanting/ or are a new owner of a Siberian Husky "Siberian Huskies: A Complete Pet Owner's Manual" from Barron's, Author Kerry Kern, ISBN#: 0-7641-1041-1
